The Arkansas State Board of Education requires proficiency ratings in speaking and writing for prospective Mandarin Chinese teachers.

For information about ACTFL® proficiency assessments, the application process and testing procedures, please read the ACTFL Proficiency Assessments Brochure for Prospective Arkansas Mandarin Chinese Teachers, available through the links on the following pages. After reading through the brochure, you may download the appropriate applications and forms to mail or fax to us, and/or apply directly on line.
